Kuala Lumpur: A Layover

In August, Jonathan and I decided to go to Australia for vacation. It happened to be during our anniversary (7 years!) so that was an added bonus. ;) My good friends Tim and Simone live in Sydney, so we based our trip around there and also had a chance to see some other parts of the country and had a long layover in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Here are some pictures of KL. We had only a 12 hour layover, so about 9 hours of city time. It worked out great, and now we want to go back and see more of Malaysia!

At Central Market in KL (our first stop!)

Jon found these delicious things to eat. I don't know what they were, and neither did he so we took a picture to remember for when we come back!

We went to the National Mosque of Malaysia (Masjid Negara). It was a cool experience!

After that we taxied over to this restaurant: Bijan. Highly recommend. It was also it a neat area of town that we enjoyed walking around.

Eating at Bijan. Food was incredible!

After returning to the airport, we had plenty of time before our plane took off, so we decided to use the extra money we had on some massage chairs. Really cheap in Malaysia, by the way.

Stay tuned for Australia pics and adventures next!
